The Brent Schreckhise Family

It all started…

In 1976, when Brent Schreckhise first stepped foot on Honduran soil.  His parents, Dan and Judy Schreckhise, had felt a call to preach the gospel in Honduras. They arrived in the capital city of Tegucigalpa to pioneer the United Pentecostal Church International in Honduras. Growing up as a missionary kid, Brent became fluent in the Spanish language, and came to understand the Honduran culture and mindset. At the age of 14, while baptizing his first candidate in a crocodile-infested river in La Mosquitia, Bro. Schreckhise received his own calling to a missionary to the country of Honduras.

Bro. Schreckhise went to the States as a young man to study at bible college. It was there that he met his wife Jennifer. Not too long after being married, Bro. & Sis. Schreckhise began to pastor in Yuma, Arizona. They were privileged to pastor there for the next 6 years. Despite their love for the people there, Bro. Schreckhise never forgot his calling as a missionary. In 2002, the Lord opened the door for the Schreckhise family to begin their missionary work in the country of Honduras; they have labored joyfully in Honduras ever since.

Bro. & Sis. Brent Schreckhise serve together in Honduras with their six children; all of who are comfortable among the Hondurans, have learned Spanish, and are constantly finding ways to be involved in the work of God.
